Supports Hall Manufacturing
Soon after
Robert Hall took on the responsibility of running the family business,
he decided to expand into a new market for an opportunity to increase
sales exponentially. He recognized that this would challenge his
management and staff, so he brought Dextera in to provide training
and coaching that would help them to get ready for increased responsibilities.
Dextera started providing this as the company began to grow towards
the projections Hall had set out.
This growth soon required moving from an exclusive governmental,
spec-based sales approach to a more market-oriented approach,
utilizing a distributor and dealer network selling to agricultural
end users. Dextera took on the tasks of building a marketing strategy
and plan, upgrading the marketing materials the company had, and
developing new materials that would launch the company into its
new market. Dextera also assisted Hall in identifying and retaining
the Sales Manager that has led the company’s charge into
this new market. As Hall and Dextera have maintained and executed
this strategy, the market’s awareness and image of Hall’s
company and products has continued to improve and feed impressive
and unprecedented sales growth.
When it became
clear that the company's growth would eventually require capacity
expansion, Dextera arranged for Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions
(AMS) to make an assessment of Hall's production facility and
processes, which resulted in changes that allowed Hall to expand
significantly in their existing location with minimal capital
outlay.
Over the years
since, Dextera has acted as the Human Resource department for
Hall, developing policies, delivering training, recruiting key
staff, coaching individuals, and implementing employment-related
processes. Dextera is also the company’s marketing and advertising
arm, producing marketing and promotional materials, working with
press and media outlets, and even developing and maintaining a
sophisticated, interactive Web presence that collects prospect
information and provides sales tools for the company’s entire
distribution network.
As Hall has grown, Dextera has continued to oversee and execute
all of the human resource projects needed to assure a quality
workforce while keeping the company in control of employment costs.
In areas where Dextera has no specific expertise, the partners
have identified and brought in external resources such as AMS
to address particular areas where changes were needed to support
the company’s growth.
